Real-world Experiences Vital to Developing Well-Rounded Students

🌏 The major goal of education today should be to nurture individuals who can find their own solutions to real-world problems and put them into practice on their own. This is necessary to survive in an uncertain and unpredictable age of rapid scientific and technological progress and economic and social globalization.

🧩 At SIS, we are working hard to connect our curriculum with local communities, local businesses, and universities , to actively engage with the real world and encourage children to learn within it.

🐥 Every month the fourth and fifth graders spend a day at the Chicken farm in Chogo to learn from real farmers. This allows them to experience how food is produced but also apply 21st century skills such as group work, and communication skills in the real world.
