Writing in Action

In our writing sessions, we are focusing on revision skills and learning how to make our work even better! One key skill we’re practicing is checking our spelling using the many helpful resources around the classroom.

A favorite tool is our Tricky Word Wall! These are words we commonly use in our writing but cannot sound out—they need to be memorized. By revisiting these words during writing, students are building confidence and independence in their spelling!
