As part of our How the World Works unit, students are engaging in a fascinating activity with light tables to explore texture and tracing. Using the light beneath their work, they can clearly see and trace intricate details, allowing them to examine patterns and textures in a new way.
This hands-on experience not only enhances their fine motor skills but also deepens their understanding of how light interacts with different surfaces. It’s wonderful to watch them discover and trace textures they might not have noticed before.
Our young learners are illuminating their world, one line at a time!
