As part of our light inquiry, students explored images of children in Kuttygram, India, who study by candlelight due to limited electricity. This experience fostered international-mindedness, as they reflected on how communities adapt to challenges.
Students noted, “we would be bumping into things and it would be difficult to go to the toilet.” These insights connected them with the IB Learner Profile attributes of empathy and open-mindedness, inspiring them to consider how they can make a positive impact as globally-minded individuals.
