In our class, students are becoming reflective learners by spotting and correcting common mistakes, like writing “2” backwards or confusing “b” and “d.” Instead of teachers pointing out errors, they guide students with questions like:
“How can we be sure if our work is correct?”
“Is there a way to double-check this letter or number?”
These open-ended questions encourage students to think critically, support each other, and build confidence in self-checking their work. Let’s celebrate their teamwork and growth as independent learners!
