Grandparents Day at Satoyama Park is a special opportunity for families to connect and celebrate our community’s diversity through the lens of international-mindedness. This event is dedicated to exploring and appreciating the unique backgrounds and traditions of each family. Students, parents, and grandparents will engage in a nature scavenger hunt, where they’ll share stories, experiences, and insights about their own family traditions. The day will conclude with a community picnic, offering everyone a chance to learn from one another and deepen their understanding of our global community. Please bring a packed lunch, water, walking shoes, a picnic blanket, sunscreen, and hats. Join us for a meaningful day of discovery, connection, and cultural exchange as we celebrate the richness that each family brings to our school community.
