The Parent Support Team (PST) is a parent support group for SIS school activities. The PST does much

valuable work in support of the school`s mission statement and to model leadership and support roles.

At the start of year, parents will decide which school project they would like to participate during the

school year. The projects include:

  • Co-coordinating service-learning opportunities for the school adhering to the Sustainable Development Goals

  • Designing and running businesses during Kidz Biz week

  • Participate in the student learning which may include

    • Rice pounding

    • Read Japanese and English books  

    • Grow fruits and vegetable at the SIS farm

    • Teach Survival Skills

    • Teach Japanese Culture

    • Teach about a culture

    • Set up during Family Fun Day
