Every month is Environmental Studies for Middle School. With the help of local farmers, we get to learn first hand the intense work involved in creating food. Today, the students picked blueberries, harvested plums, preaches, and prune grapes after feeding, watering and cleaning the chicken coops. It was work where the students gained an ample amount of experience and a chance to continue to develop their work ethics. Students were also able to gain appreciation for food through learning about sustainable farming first hand.
