【Earlier is Not Always Better】

Societally we view the faster a child learns to read and write, the better it is. However based on research conducted by Beery Buktenica,children developmentally have distinctive competencies related to writing ( see the picture posted ). She states children’s visual motor integration skills are not developed enough, their hands are also physically under-developed. Your child will learn to write one day so let’s not skip the most important stages in their development as a writer! Earlier is not always better.⠀
