https://youtu.be/unhT22PgliE Grade 4, 5 and Middle School students learn how to make fire with and without the use of matches. The grade 4 & 5 objectives of the day was to setup and start a fire with a single match, as well as maintaining a cooking fire. The Middle school objectives of the day was to start a fire with flint and steel as well as using friction to create enough heat that a fire could be started from it. Overall, it was a tough day for all the students, it they did not give up, and it ended up being a great learning experience for everyone.
