Our first unit in PE is “Collaborative movement” The students are experimenting a variety of ways to complete a task through verbal cues but also coordinating their bodies to complete a given task.
One objective on doing sports at the beach was for students to gain experiences in working out on unstable surfaces. Training on sand uses more muscle mass & recruits muscle fibres not normally used – many of which are often weaker.
