This week we shared our summer project regarding our current inquiry on the way humans treat animals.
After visiting Zoorasia to research how captive animals were kept in zoos, they designed a home that would make it more comfortable for these animals to live in.
Some unique ideas that students came up with were
• using no plastic so animals do not mistakenly eat them
• provide more shade for the animals to relax
• add more family members and friends so the animals have someone to play with
• keeping the cages more spacious
Now our new perspective question that we will try to answer “Is it ethical to keep animals in zoos?” Let’s continue the research!
