Inquiry Unit: Flight

Currently the fifth graders are undergoing a Inquiry unit titled Flight. To kick off the unit, students went to go and fly a drone.

Through this unit, the students will understand the changes of flight technology. This could be from Lu Ban the Chinese philosopher in the 5th century who invited the kite to the Wright Brothers.

Thereafter the students will investigate the science behind aircraft flight by conducting a variety of science experiments! They will create their own parachutes and design wings that improve aerodynamics. Let the inquiry cycle begin!
